About The Fulfilled Word Church
Who We Are
The Fulfilled Church is an Atavist Bible Church in Nigeria committed to helping people understand Christ, Scripture, and the fulfilled kingdom of God. We seek to proclaim the gospel faithfully, teach the scriptures carefully, and help believers live confidently in the reality of Christ's finished work.
What We Believe
Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, the reality of God's kingdom, and the finished work of redemption accomplished through Christ.
CHRIST
We believe Jesus is the eternal Word of God made flesh, the Son of God and Lord of all. Through His death and resurrection, He accomplished our redemption and inaugurated the New Covenant, calling us to faith, reconciliation, and new life in Him.
SCRIPTURE
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, revealing His purpose and His redemptive work in Christ. We seek to understand Scripture faithfully within its covenantal, historical, literary, and redemptive context, allowing the whole biblical story to illuminate the person and work of Jesus Christ.
THE KINGDOM
We believe that Jesus Christ came proclaiming the Kingdom of God and that, through His death, resurrection, ascension, and covenantal work, he established the promised Kingdom. We therefore proclaim the reality of Christ's present reign and seek to live as citizens of His Kingdom here and now.
THE NEW COVENANT
We believe that Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant, established through His sacrificial death and resurrection. In Christ, God's covenant promises find fulfillment , and believers are brought into a new relationship with God marked by grace, forgiveness, reconciliation, and the life of the Spirit.
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the community of those who belong to Christ, called to embody His love, truth, holiness, and reconciliation. We are committed to building a Christ-centered community where believers grow in Scripture, encourage one another, serve others, and bear witness to the reality of God's Kingdom.
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe that life in Christ is a response to God's grace, expressed through faith, love, holiness, obedience, and service. Because Christ has accomplished our redemption, we are called to live from that finished work—loving God and our neighbours, pursuing righteousness, extending forgiveness, and serving others as witnesses of Christ.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ, teach the scripture faithfully, make the reality of His fulfilled kingdom known, and equip believers to live with confidence in the finished work of Christ. We also seek to engage sincere questions about the Christian faith with truth, humility, love, and thoughtful apologetics.
